Our Staff
"Mr. P" was licensed to teach in Ontario in 2000. He graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a three-year Concurrent Bachelor of Education. In 2003, he completed a Masters of Education focused on Native and Environmental Education. He came to Aurora High School in 2007 and has been actively involved in coaching the tennis team and heading up the Indigenous Allyship Club and Announcement Team. Over the years, he has also served the YRDSB community as a summer school and night school principal and was on the writing team for a new grade 9 geography textbook titled Geography in Action.
M. Laville studied political science and geography at York University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2004. In 2005, he completed his Bachelor of Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, as well as an additional qualification in French. M. Laville started working at Aurora High School in 2005, and has been teaching geography, history, French, and business courses, primarily to immersion students. During his tenure at Aurora, he has worked with Student Council and coached the golf team.
