School Council Norms
Hello everyone, and welcome to Aurora High School’s school council. We hope the following ‘norms of behaviour’ will ensure we have an efficient, effective meeting that is respectful of everyone’s time and perspective.
Accordingly, we ask that you sign in using both your first and last name as we are required to maintain attendance records. Please do not use aliases. Participants will be muted upon entry as it can be difficult to hear if there are multiple live microphones. Additionally, while we want to see everybody, depending on the number of participants, we may not have the broadband connection to support everyone’s camera. Accordingly, if necessary, we may ask people to turn their cameras off.
Finally, we would like to remind everyone that our time is limited, therefore, we kindly ask that questions be held until the end of each presentation so that we can get through those issues we wish to address. When invited, participants can use the raise hand feature and will be called upon. At this time, we will unmute your microphone so you can ask your question. Your cooperation with this is truly appreciated.
We truly look forward to meeting with you.
