Responsibilities of placement supervisors:

  • Interview the student to confirm suitability

  • Deliver specific health and safety training as it relates to your organization

  • Provide relevant experience in a safe learning environment

  • Develop learning expectations for the student, in collaboration with the co-op teacher and the student

  • Assist the co-op teacher to complete assessments of the student's performance

  • Verify student hours weekly using an web-based reporting tool

  • Encourage students to explore opportunities in your sector
